Multiple Bets
Our guide to multiple bets and how to use doubles, trebles, parlays, and accumulators, effectively in order to get massive odds and payouts.
A multiple is any type of bet composed of two or more selections, requiring them all to be successful for the bet to be won. A single missed selection would make the ticket lost.
The idea behind multiples is to go with a higher risk and higher reward betting strategy since the odds are multiplied together. The main challenge with multiples, especially from 4 selections and more, is to lose everything because of one missed selection. It can be hard to stomach emotionally.
The most common types of multiple bets are:
- Doubles - a wager on with two selections
- Trebles - a wager with three selections
- Parlays - a wager with four or more selections (mostly used in American markets)
- Accumulators - a wager with four or more selections (mostly used in the European and UK markets)
Multiples have been enjoyed by punters who go for large payouts but they are generally never the largest type of bet for any sane punter. This is because they will most likely lose unless they stick to doubles and trebles.
Double Bets
A double bet is a wager on two selections. Both of which must be successful to win the overall bet.
