করোনার গ্রাসে গোটা বিশ্ব। ক্রমশ আয়ত্তের বাইরে চলে যাচ্ছে পরিস্থিতি। ইটালি ছাড়িয়ে মারণ জীবাণুর ভরকেন্দ্র এখন আমেরিকা। মার্কিন মুলুকে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনায় মৃত্যু হয়েছে ১৯২০ জনের। গোটা দুনিয়ায় মৃতের সংখ্যা এক লক্ষ ছাপিয়ে গিয়েছে। মারণ ভাইরাসের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করেছে একাধিক দেশ। বিশ্বে আক্রান্ত প্রায় ১৭ লক্ষ মানুষ। ভারতেও দাপট দেখাচ্ছে মারণ ভাইরাস। দেশে মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৭৩। মোট আক্রান্ত ৮,৩৫৬। সেরে উঠেছেন ৭১৬ জন। এদিকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে আক্রান্ত ৯৫ জন। মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৫ জনের (রাজ্য সরকারের পরিসংখ্যান অনুযায়ী)। করোনা সংক্রান্ত আপডেট:

রাত ৯: রাজ্যে বাধ্যতামূলক হতে চলেছে ফেস মাস্ক। নির্দেশিকা জারি করে জানাল স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর। এন৯৫ বা সার্জিক্যাল মাস্ক না হলেও, কাপড়ের মাস্কে মুখ ঢেকে বাড়ির বাইরে বেরতে হবে।  

সন্ধে ৮.৫৫: পরিষেবা দিতে এমআর বাঙুরে পাঠানো হল ৭ চিকিৎসককে। তাঁরা সকলে এনআরএস, কলকাতা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও এসএসকেএমের বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক। রয়েছেন চেস্ট মেডিসিনের ২ জন, ২ জন হৃদরোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ এবং একজন নেফ্রোলজিস্ট। 

সন্ধে ৮.৩০: লকডাউন নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নির্দেশিত পথেই চলবে উত্তরপ্রদেশ, জরুরি বৈঠকের পর সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে জানালেন যোগী আদিত্যনাথ।

সন্ধে ৮.২৫: কর্ণাটকে করোনামুক্ত ৭০ বছরের এক মহিলা। হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়া পেয়ে আজ ফিরলেন বাড়ি।

বিকেল ৫.২৫: মধ্যমগ্রামে করোনা আক্রান্ত কাউন্সিলরের গাড়িচালকের রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ। বারাসতের কাছে এক বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে তিনি ভরতি। কাউন্সিলরের সংস্পর্শে থাকা ১৫ জনকে কোয়ারেন্টাইনে পাঠানো হয়। প্রত্যেকের নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছিল। গাড়িচালক বাদে সকলের রিপোর্টই নেগেটিভ এসেছে। 

বিকেল ৪.৪৫: দেশে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ৮,৩৫৬। গত ২৯ মার্চ এই সংখ্যাটা ছিল ৯৭৯। এঁদের মধ্যে ২০ শতাংশ রোগীকে আইসিইউতে রেখে চিকিৎসা করলেই হবে। জানিয়েছেন কেন্দ্রীয় স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রকের যুগ্ম সচিব লব আগরওয়াল।
