সবরকম চেষ্টা চালিয়েও রোখা যাচ্ছে না সংক্রমণ। ভারতে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৫ লক্ষ ৩১ হাজার  ৬৬৯। মৃত্যু ৩৪ হাজার ১৯৩ জন। বাংলায় মোট আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৬৫ হাজার ২৫৮জন। আর মৃত্যু হয়েছে ১ হাজার ৪৯০ জনের। করোনা সংক্রান্ত সমস্ত আপডেট:

রাত ১০.৩০: মহারাষ্ট্রে সংক্রমণে লাগাম পরানো যাচ্ছে না। ফলে সেই রাজ্যে লকডাউন ৩১ আগস্ট অবধি বাড়ানো হল।

রাত ৯.৫২: কেরলে করোনা জয়ী শতায়ু মহিলা। জুলাই মাসের ২০ তারিখ থেকে জ্বর, বুকে কফ জমে যাওয়ার মতো উপসর্গ নিয়ে হাসপাতালে ভরতি ছিলেন তিনি। আজ সুস্থ হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরলেন ১০৫ বছরের ওই মহিলা। 

রাত ৯.৩০: ১ আগস্ট থেকে Unlock-3এর নির্দেশিকা কার্যকর হবে। কিন্তু সেসময়ও হংকং থেকে কোনও বিমানকে ভারতে আসার অনুমতি দেওয়া হবে না। এমনকী ভারত থেকে হংকংয়ে বিমান যাওয়ার অনুমতি দিচ্ছে না অসামরিক উড়ান মন্ত্রক। এই রুটে বিমান চালানোর জন্য এযার ইন্ডিয়া আবেদন জানিয়েছিল বলে খবর।
